    Custom bobbins from Superior

I can order custom bobbins for you from Superior Threads. They will wind any of their threads onto Bobbins for a minimal cost. They have a selection of types of bobbins that you can choose from.

Diane....I heard about this service recently!  I think it is a fantastic opportunity for teachers especially, who want to kit up projects or classes.  For example, I teach a class about Machine quilting with decorative threads, and machine  applique with decorative threads and stitches.  It would cost students a fortune to buy ten or fifteen different spools, and my personal stash would vanish if I shared it at each class.  I'm thinking about offering "student kits" with a selection of threads in each one...on these bobbins!   You get enough to do a small project, see if you like the thread, without major cash outlay.  Then you can order up full spools of the ones you like best....

GREAT to know you can do that here, too!

    Sarah and all,

We are offering a service for teachers to provide kits that their students will order. We are already working with several teachers to get ready for the fall. If a teacher arranges with us to provide these kits, we will provide the teacher with a 15% discount on her own purchases. We can include these bobbins from Superior (for use as top thread sources in most cases unless you rewind them) and we are thinking of purchasing a bobbin winder for the shop here so we can provide other brands in bobbin form too.

Of course we do not discourage anyone from ordering directly from Superior, but in most cases our prices are the same or sometime better. So you have a choice.
