    Embroidery machines

I currently own a Janome 5700 machine but am looking to upgrade to a machine with more features.

I would like to hear recommendations from other embroiderery machine owners before I commit to purchase and spend all my savings!

I am considering purchasing the Janome 11000, but would like to hear from users of this and other machines such as Brother how good the machines really are when tried and tetsed! I most definately want a machine that I can use a digitiser with so I can create a much wider range of my own designs.

Thank you in advance for your time to reply Smile

i am interested this reply too. Here we have a Janome MB-4 but it is too much for what we need.  I would like sell it and get something easier to use. my criteria is that it have the ability to download from the internet and that the associeted software is not too expensive.  I will sell the MB-4 for a good price if anyone wants it,

    Big SmileHi:

I've just joined Diane's forum and your request was in the active group.  I realize that this reply is somewhat delayed.  You've probably moved onto a bigger and better machine by now.

Just wanted to let you know that I have the Babylock Ellegante and absolutely love it.  One very useful feature that the Ellegante has is that it comes wtih two bobbin cases.  One is for use with the Class L bobbin and the other is for the Class 15 bobbin.  The machine also performs beautifully and is extremely user friendly.

I haven't decided which make I would like for the industrial embroidery machine, but I am looking into getting one mainly to be able to embroidery ball caps.  I have no intentions of parting with my Ellegante, but would like to own an industrial machine as well.

Which I had joined this forum sooner.  I new to sewing forums and don't quite know my way around.

Diane or somebody...what is the 'Tags" at the bottom of this post used for?

    Happy Stitching,

    Re: Embroidery machines

The Janome 11000 is a fabulous machine. The quality of embroidery is just outstanding. It is also not that difficult to use, especially if you already have a Janome. But if you are new to Janome, it is not difficult to use and lots of help out there. There are other great machines out there, but some I have heard are more difficult to learn to use.
